Check blind spots
Motorcycles are smaller and can be harder to see. Check mirrors and blind spots before changing lanes, especially in heavy traffic where riders may be filtering between lanes.
Leave space
Allow following distance and avoid crowding riders, who may need to maneuver around road debris. Never share a lane with a motorcycle alongside it — give riders the full lane.

Many motorcycle collisions happen at intersections. Scan carefully before turning and signal your intentions early.
